Mulgi Pruulikoda is a small craft brewery in southern part of Estonia. The brewery is located in Karksi parish, in the very heart of the historical region of Mulgimaa.
The brewery was founded out of respect towards local food and beverages. There is something unique to be discovered in many parts of Estonia, something worth to taste and share. Mulgi porridge, Mulgi cabbage, kama – these are most famous examples from Mulgimaa. And brewing some beer has always been a part of life in old Mulgi farms. Now, Mulgi Pruulikoda is continuing that refreshing tradition.
The brewery was founded in 2015 by family Vaiksaar – Lauri and Pille. The brewery is built onto a farm of forefathers, known to be brewing beer, making some wine and even something stronger in their own time too.
